Marcy gets the idea for her memory recovery procedure from the conversation with MacLaren at the waterside in the episode 207 entitled "17 Minutes". He tells her when I was near death "my own consciousness took refuge in the memories of Grant MacLaren."

An emotional roller coaster

As others have said, this is easily the best episode to date. The way it progresses the story is great, but I felt incredibly attached to the marcy/david story and not gonna lie there was definitely tears at one point. Great viewing all round!!
