That Trump
27 July 2017 | by ericstevensonSee all my reviews

Well, this is one of the most serious episodes I've seen in a long time. I guess it's hard to even label a talk show as having "episodes" but this website seems to fit the bill well enough. It turns out that Donald Trump has no longer allowed transgendered people to serve in the military. Yeah, I really did think he was for LGBT rights, but not anymore. While there were certainly great jokes here and there, the middle segment is actually the most interesting. We actually get two transgender veterans who served and what they think about this predicament. It's honestly one of the most serious segments they've done recently.

Charlize Theron appears to promote her movie "Atomic Blonde". I know mostly nothing about that film. She is a talented actress and I'm glad she's appearing. In the beginning of this episode, I could have sworn the audience was booing. With news like this, it makes sense. There's also some bits about a wax figure of Beyoncé which did get some good jokes too. I'm just glad everyone is addressing the problem of transgender rights and am glad we're mostly united on being against their lack of rights. Thanks for the update, Trevor. ****
