    • Trivia
The producers had some initial difficulties convincing Hollywood Boulevard vendors to allow their premises to be fitted with period facades to better reflect the 1960s. However, after the production wrapped that section of the shoot, most of these same people asked if they could leave the facades in place, since they now much more preferred that period 'look.'

When Sharon Tate was talking to the girl at the box office of the movie theater in Westwood, you can see the Starbucks sign for half the scene before it was covered up. Starbucks was founded in 1971.

      [turns to Sadie]

Cliff Booth: And you, I remember your white little face.

      [turns to Tex]

Cliff Booth: And you were on a horsey! Yeah... you are?

Tex: I'm the Devil. And I'm here to do the Devil's business.

Cliff Booth: ...Nah, it was dumber than that. Something like Rex.

      Sadie: God, shoot him, Tex!

      Cliff Booth: Tex!

    Oh so mediocre
After all the hype around this film I was sorely disappointed. With an A List cast, as it had, it should have been Gold. The acting was terrific by Brad Pitt, Leonardo and Margot Robbie. The storyline sadly fell short, way short. The era was captured really well however I sat through the first hour thinking it was painting the scene and that the real action would start. I kept thinking that until the last 20 minutes when things finally came together, however, that was nearly 3 hours of film to sit through before any real appearance of the film I was expecting.

    FAQ20

    • Why is Samuel L. Jackson not in this movie?
    • Why does the poster of the movie say, "The ninth film from Quentin Tarantino", when, according to IMDb, he's made up to 12 whole (excluded the short ones and other specials) movies up to this movie?
    • Who wrote the music for the scene where Rick is acting in a war movie, killing Germans with a flametrower? Or is the music from another movie? If yes, which film?
