The morning or afternoon before Steve and Diana fly to Egypt, Barbara and several co-workers are shown at their Smithsonian offices. Later it is shown that that day is July 4th. While the Smithsonian would be open for visitors to view exhibits, the behind-the-scenes employees would not be at work on a federal holiday. Similarly, Stagg Industries is shown that same day as being open for normal business when it ought to have been closed in observance of Independence Day. See more »
