An Infant, A Brute or a Wild Beast

As the season coming to its end, the fogs starting to clear, but our characters' journey on the uncharted sea of their own minds continues. Winters is now in custody, Lambert tries to get himself in charge of the case in order to save his own skin. Whereas the former still sinking in the conflict of his own, trying to understand what drives him to commit to things he has done and things that he's still trying to do. While Lambert is busy covering his own footprints on his involvement of Winter's murders, Chance also has discovered a connection between the good DA and past evidence. On the side plot, Nicole continues the journey her mother forced her upon, and Kristen Clayton's road to connect the dots between the unit's victims and the big bald guy has become clearer. Dee keeps on his path of finding Lorena, knowing it will only lead to danger, he finds himself in a spot that his past experience might not be enough to get him out of. Chance's worries about others finding out what he's been doing outside his work in the unit has caught on with him.
