When Gene and Mitch go to the Peculiar Pub to find Eric and Greg, there's a brief shot of someone playing a "Skylab" pinball machine. In the original film Wet Hot American Summer (2001), one of the (many) plot points is saving the camp from a piece of NASA's Skylab, which is falling to Earth.

Goofs

When McKinley and Renata go into town to the store, McKinley watches Renata but we can see a cooler full of liquor. Most of them seen were not even invited. Like Mike's Hard Lemonaid, Bud Light Lime-A-Rita products, and a few more. But also the labels and style of labels, even the bottles from 1991 had a different style and shape. In this episode, the bottles and packaging are currently in circulation. The bottles/labels/packaging doesn't fit the time period.
