A change in pace and direction.
12 March 2019 | by Sleepin_DragonSee all my reviews

Personally, I really liked the first episode, I thought it was courageous drama, that definitely was going to push the boundaries. This second part is very different in tone, much faster paced, more highly charged, but in terms of plot, you are required for some of it to suspend belief, as some of the events are a little difficult to believe. I'm a little baffled as to a few directions in the plot, why was she sent to Pakistan, and why are the family under scrutiny. I am sure all will become apparent soon.

The quality of production, and superb acting continue, Archie Panjabi never fails to impress, she's a superb talent. The scenes filmed in Pakistan (or its substitute) made for an enjoyable contrast. I am still gripped, if a little confused. 6/10
