Millionaire Gary 'Hutch' Hutchinson comes to hospital needing a hip replacement after running countless marathons for charity and Lucy is beguiled by him. Meanwhile Simon impresses administrator Jane Bison with Baby Brother, an efficiency-saving tracking device but Frankie, fearing it will make her redundant, misuses it and gets sacked after Simon reports her. So, when Simon gets the chance to escort Lucy to a charity dinner hosted by Hutch she sees the opportunity for revenge, leading to public humiliation for Simon and possible dismissal. Fortunately Hutch is on his side. Written by don @ minifie-1

Episode 1.3
11 October 2017 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

Simon might still be deluded enough to think he can rise from being a lowly porter to become a doctor without the appropriate qualifications. This does not stop him with a brainwave to come up with an efficiency saving device that could save the hospital money. It is a tracking device that he calls 'Baby Brother.'

This upsets both Frankie who fears for her job and Tillman who realises that this tracking device is an infringement on civil liberties and smacks of Big Brother.

Tillman thinks Simon has gone over to the dark side with the adulation he is getting from the hospital bosses. Frankie has some pills with the right kind of side effects that will lure him back as Simon takes Lucy out to a charity dinner where he starts to become paranoid.

Luckily for Simon, millionaire 'Hutch' Hutchinson is admitted to hospital for a hip replacement. He has raised millions for mental health charities by running countless marathons and he is spurned into action when Simon has his meltdown.

An interesting quirky series, although not laugh out loud. It is daft enough for me to see it return for a second series.
