When Olivia interrupts Stephen and Mrs. Dudley's conversation, a face can be seen behind her as she moves through the door frame. It is gone when she turns to leave after inquiring about Luke. See more »

Incorrectly regarded as a goof: Hugh (the father) tells Steven (the eldest son) to close his eyes and promise not to open them before they make a run out of the house from a bedroom to the car outside. Steven promises not to open his eyes. His dad carries him into the hallway and reminds Steven not to open his eyes. When they reach the stairs, you can see Steven now standing, no longer being carried by his dad. They both run down the stairs and Hugh is not leading Steven by the hand, yet Steven somehow knows exactly where and how to run down the stairs and out of the house (presumably with his eyes closed).

However, Steven does actually open his eyes and catches a glimpse of what he believes to be his mother coming around a corner. He never makes any attempt to close his eyes after that and can obviously tell that he's at the main staircase and he runs to the car immediately because Hugh had already told him that's where they were heading to. Steven Crain: I've seen a lot of ghosts. Just not the way you think. A ghost can be a lot of things. A memory, a daydream, a secret. Grief, anger, guilt. But, in my experience, most times they're just what we want to see. Most times, a ghost is a wish.

Ok - so 3 bad reviews so far. I'm going to go the opposite and say I really enjoyed it. It's seems people want all action these days, what this programme is doing is taking its time to build story and atmosphere. I feel the comments on the kids acting is pretty harsh as most of them had very little to do in this episode. The scares were good and really enjoyed the last couple of minutes. If it keeps this up it will be a great series.
