Quotes

Joseph Anders: Tempting, isn't it?
Cristal Flores: Excuse me?
Joseph Anders: I've been watching you with that necklace all evening. Grasping it like Gollum. You look guilty for someone who hasn't stolen anything.
Cristal Flores: Guilt is an emotion I don't suffer from. Guilt is for insecure people.
Joseph Anders: Well, what about desperation? That's what I saw when you realized that your accounts have been cut off.
Cristal Flores: Look Anders, whatever you know about my past, you don't know me now. I learned that solving one problem by creating another gets you nowhere.
Joseph Anders: It got you here ...

Dynasty: Guilt Is for Insecure People

This was an outstanding episode, filled with everything that I could ever want from a series. It was fascinating to see Cristal's past unravel through flashbacks as we begin to learn more about who she really is, as well as what Sammy Jo is willing to do to protect Cristal's sister back in Venezuela.

The "filthy rich and squeaky clean" aspect is also beginning to set in with even more depth, showing us exactly how ruthless and powerful the Carringtons are when it comes to business, family and money. It's brilliantly done.

On top of that, we got some excellent development between Michael and Fallon as well as Jeff and Fallon (a love triangle is brewing) and some very heartfelt moments between Blake and his children towards the end. This episode was a rollercoaster ride of emotion, action and drama from start to finish. This is absolutely brilliant writing.

I give "Guilt Is for Insecure People" a 10/10.
