Trivia

Factual Error: 'Raths' are Iron Age forts, as correctly referred to in the episode, but are not usually referred to as 'Fairy Rings' or carry the same mystique as the so called 'Fairy Rings' of Ireland (and Scotland) that are usually stone circles dating from the late Neolithic / Bronze Age c. 4000-1200BC which do have a lot of mystique superstition and lore about them. Uninteresting

I know if I am bored watching something if I continue to pick up my phone to see if I have missed a text message, or if someone has uploaded something to Instagram. Maybe I am not the target audience or demographic for this show and maybe that is also why I never found the time to listen to the Lore podcast. This episode started out very promising but lost me about five minutes in. There seemed to be a lot of filler to stretch it out to a 40 minute episode, and at the end I was left thinking, was that all there was.

I also have to take a moment to talk about the acting in this episode as it seems worse than re-enactments in early episodes of Forensic Files. A large company like Amazon can afford to have actors of a certain calibur playing the roles, or at least cast people who have acted infront of a camera instead of regional theatre.
