Plot Summary

This is a story of two old folks, who have spent most of their lives behind prison walls. Now, as seventy year old men, they have been granted amnesty. Both men have a passionate desire to change their lives according to certain plans. Time is one of the main characters in this story. The time that passes from one point to another and how it changes and influences human spirit and thoughts. These old prison friends Markus (Tõnu Kark) and Eduard (Sergey Makovetskiy) are not murderers and do not have blood on their hands. However, from a young age they have revolved around circles of thieves and other criminals. Their greatest crime has been robbing their country by deceiving it. State robberies and frauds have led the men to serve a long period of punishment from Soviet Estonia until today's European Estonia. It is now, when the cell mates receive their freedom. They decide to meet each other in a week at the hotel "Palace" to plan together their new, free life. But, before the meeting, the men need to get in order their "personal affairs". Written by Ralf
