Storyline

The famous and aging artist, Thorvald (Erik Clausen), believes that he is both immortal and indispensable. But as his heart stops one day, he is not ready to leave this world. An angel (Bodil Jørgensen) gives him a last chance for as invisible and free soul to walk for three days among his survivors. Thorvald quickly realizes that they do not respond completely as he expects and that his death provides new opportunities for both the angry and unconvincing son Vincent (Nicolas Bro), the young wife (Marijana Jankovic) and his bitter ex-wife (Britt Bendixen).

Superficial and naive depiction of an artist death

This movie just made me angry. It was to bizarre and way to ordinary. I must say I have seen movies with Clausen before that I liked a lot, but this one unfortunately hits the low. The acting is very poor and there is so many attempts to be funny that does not work. You do not know whether to take it serious or to laugh. It is between. The feeling leaving the cinema this evening was a flat feeling. I feel like wasted my time with a superficial and naive depiction of an artist death. I stayed for the full time but should have left after 20 minutes.
