Happiness and self-fulfillment are possible for each of us. All that's required is to make a choice. Individuals and communities are making that choice by meditating and the impact on their world is profound.
Two modern day monks meet a diverse range of people making a choice for a better life through meditation. Ballet dancers and writers, stressed business people, a cancer patient, foster children and maximum-security prisoners; their stories show peace is possible for individuals and communities - and suggests it may be possible for all of humanity. Stunning cinematography combined with the power of people sharing from a place of profound peace delivers a palpable and moving experience.
Inspiring film about how meditation can bring peace and happiness
This is an amazing film which tells the stories of a variety of people, all around the world, who are facing different challenges. Each of these people use meditation to help them overcome and face those challenges and the film shows how they are able to achieve happiness and inner peace. Particularly powerful is the story of Maximum security prisoners in Mexico and the dramatic effect meditation has had on them as individuals and on the prison as a whole. There is a story in this film that will touch each and everyone in different ways and for different reasons.
The cinematography is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this film for everyone but particularly those who are searching for something to fill that feeling of 'there must be something else'.
