Trivia

Filmed in one single take. The crew had to plan for months and choreograph the changing settings, chance encounters etc. As Qasim Basir put it during Sundance 2018, it was the hardest thing he has ever done. He cited the German movie "Victoria" with its single-take production as inspiration. See more »

I kinda liked it...
1 October 2019 | by aevaughn-77305See all my reviews

A lot of us african americans hate reliving that election...and this brought it back. BUT the whole story of these 2 meeting and getting together...kinda...well...FELT REAL. Not like storybook romance either - real. Their angst, the tension, the closeness. The movie was a bit dry, but again, there was feeling between the characters and that is what I liked most!
