Icehotel

Giles and Monica go 120 miles north of the Arctic Circle.. Although in the past there have been a temporary ice hotels. This is a permanent Icehotel in Sweden where you spend the night in -5C with a very warm blanket.

The rooms have ice sculptures and you drink out of ice glasses. Thankfully the WC is more warmer. Food comes courtesy of the reindeer.

Although Giles and Monica interview some of the guests in the £1000 a night rooms, it becomes crystal clear that apart from the ice cold hotel rooms there is little of interest here.

This episode really thawed well before its one hour length and I rather got bored by the end.
