Not your typical horror film, good atmosphere, not for all.
15 November 2018 | by MarkyLouiGSee all my reviews

This movies is actually good. The environment and atmosphere this movie brings is ashtoningly unsettling. It makes your skin crawl and cringe. Plot was kinda just ok, it reminded me of Get Out; it had a similar presence to it storyline wise. But it was the atmosphere and feel that really impressed me, not a lot of horror films have that now. The acting was solid too, Helena Bereen's performance was really impressive. With that being said I will say this film will not please a lot of people. Because this is not your generic horror film with scares and a demonic presence. I know that people might think it will be boring. So if you're not a fan of slow burns and artsy types of film this is not the film for you.

All in all I liked this film. It brought an atmosphere that not many horror films are able to do today. Great acting, cool but not new plot and camera work was a little dodgy at times. Good film but not for all.
