People are infected by a alien spore and become violent as a result. Most deaths occur off camera but there are several scenes of people trying to kill each other as well as people being impaled or shot. There is also a scene of a young dead child where they don't show the murder itself but images of the dead body.

The F word is used repeatedly throughout the movie. Two of the main characters use the F-bomb in about every dialogue.
