Episode 3

The concept of Rellik means that it is easy to lose the flow from one episode to the next, hence why it has been struggling in the ratings.

The third episode focused on Gabriel's domestic life as he searches for his daughter who has ran away because she has had enough of her quarrelling parents. However as she is found safe and well at the beginning of the episode, I was not really interested on how she got where she is.

However the concept of rewinding back worked well with the story concerning Patrick Barker the man who we saw trying to get away on a plane in the first episode.

One of the alleged victim of the acid killer is actually set up to have been their victim when Patrick Barker is caught in an uncompromising position with his stepdaughter. We see Barker being questioned as a potential suspect early on but later but we also see him set up an alibi. At the end of the episode we get a clearer story but we are not still any nearer to catching the acid killer.
