If someone is going to make a 'found footage' type film based in a particular era it would be a good idea to either use equipment from that era or at least faithfully replicate it. This film does neither (apart from a few obvious effects) and it shows from the beginning of the film, which severely challenges it's acceptance as anything other than something knocked together with little thought or direction.

It is a shame. The story could have been really good and the acting is superb. But both are let down by poor production.

I suspect that many of the 'rave' ratings are false.
