There is nothing more exciting than going to work with Dad. Dana is eight, her mother is in hospital, and the night has come when no one else is free to babysit. Her father is on night shift and so there is no other option: they have to go to work together. But her father has a very different job. A professional soldier, he heads up a special border unit that apprehends illegal border transgressors. Dana's father has asked to be stationed that night in the family unit at the temporary migrant camp, where it is safer to be with a child in tow. This battle-trained man sets to work with his daughter, but this night like no other and changes both their lives forever.
