When multiple patients of grief counselor Mia Vallens turn up dead, Dean, Sam and Jack investigate the mystery surrounding the murders and, each inadvertently, are forced to deal with unresolved grief of their own.
So we are finally a bit out of Dean's character regression. I thought motw was good and entertaining and the episode also went deep into grief and loss. The empty was intriguing too. Also can we acknowledge how when Dean went to purgatory and Sam didn't look for him because he thought Dean was dead was seen as some big sin by Sam but Dean's doing the same with Mary.
