Storyline

Team Flash confronts a new bus meta, Matthew. Otherwise known as Melting Point, the meta has the ability to swap people's DNA. During a battle with the team, Matthew transfers Barry's super speed to Iris, giving her the powers of the Flash. Hence, when a new threat is unleashed on Central City, Barry must act as the team leader, while Iris takes over as a speedster in order to defeat their new foe.

Goofs

When Cisco and Joe are examining the vault door after Melting Point burned through it Cisco says the door was 10 inches thick and required 6,000 degrees to burn through it. Yet none of the money, which was laying out in the open no more than a few feet from the vault door, show no sign of having been exposed to such high heat. The money should have been burned up, or at the very least been greatly singed. See more »

Quotes

[first lines]
Cisco Ramon: What if... What if I just, like, breach all three of the bus metas to, like, Earth-2?
Dr. Harry Wells: How about this? We alter each bus meta's DNA by performing intercellular surgery.
Cisco Ramon: And what? Turn them into chickens?
Dr. Harry Wells: Yeah.
Cisco Ramon: We're not Frankensteining innocent people.

A new TV show maybe ?
15 March 2018 | by caravindan1994See all my reviews

Pathetic episode. I really do not know why the want to portray Iris as a leader when she has no quality to be there in the first place. Above that they really gave her powers now ?

If they really want to give her that much importance, they could perhaps start a new TV series with Iris being the central character. I don't even feel like I am watching a superhero show now-a-days. With all the experience the team has, they make it look like it can't function without Iris. Damn. Please go back to basics where the focus was on original team Flash and not this woman.
