With Clayton back in charge, the skeleton team mobilizes its last friends for a pretty desperate last stand against president Roarke's constitutional convention, a legalized coup. They concentrate on four swing votes, finding blackmail material against each, only to find their HQ was spied upon so as to identify and turn them for the Collaborators. Risking their careers and personal liberty, the team go public to expose all machinations on love TV, both sides pay a heavy price as live are changed or even utterly wrecked. Written by KGF Vissers
It seems a long time ago when season 2 opened with the President of the United States, the First Lady and several other world leaders were being held hostage at a world summit in New York City by a terrorist group called the Citizens Liberation Front.
The season morphed to a dark satire on the Trump presidency. Unelected President Roarke's Collaborators have always been one step ahead of our heroes. Now with the Constitutional Convention around the corner, the new amendment to the Constitution is likely to pass. Thwarted once again they have a final throw of the dice, fight dirty and get intelligence that Roarke and his people have been misusing. It means going to the source, the person who is gathering the information.
It was an over the top, silly and fun finale. I am convinced that season 2 did not progress as intended.
