When they arrive at Buckingham Palace (they actually arrive at Blenheim Palace), they are greeted by Guardsmen. The red plume indicates that they are Coldstream guards. However, the plume is on the wrong side of the bearskin, it should be on the right, and the buttons are wrong, they should be in pairs, one vertical line of buttons. See more »
If you don't take Dolittle too seriously I'm sure you'll find enough enjoyment in the experience. It's really a family film, probably aimed at kids in the 6-12 demographic. It's got a few good laughs and it's a feel good adventure. Is it amazing? No, but it's not a bad way to spend a couple of hours.
