Character error

When they are at Vienna train station about to leave for Prague, Audrey and Morgan panic about being caught by the authorities during passport checks at the border. There are no border checks when travelling between Austria and the Czech Republic, as both countries are in the Schengen Area.

When Morgen calls Snowden for helping them with decryption of the USB drive, Ed answers the phone pulling it downward, which would normally reject the call (also the red pictograph appears).

Errors in geography

The opening scene is set to be happening in Vilnius, Lithuania. The car numbers are clearly not Lithuanian as well as the woman shouting in the market or the TV neither is using Lithuanian.

In one scene, five black CIA cars are travelling along an empty road towards the camera. When we cut back to the road, they are travelling away from the camera, but clearly just driving back they way they had come (i.e. in the opposite direction).

Factual errors

At Wien HbF (Vienna Main Train Station), the characters talk about needing new passports to travel to Prague. Both Austria and Czechia are members of the Schengen Accords and as such there are no border controls (including passport checks) between the countries.

At about 26min, the CIA sticks his gun under the table to her knee. The next scene, you can see with the size of the table in order to reach her knee, his lower arm would have to be 3 feet long.

At Vienna station, when looking at the trains to the Czech Republic, there are numerous errors. In the case of the train to Prague, the destination is shown as 'Prague Bahnhof'. In German, it should be 'Prag Bahnhof'. Similarly, another destination is shown as 'Czech Budejovice' - this should be 'Ceske Budejovice' (in Czech). The 'train' to Usti nad Labem stops at 2 bus stations (Znojmo autobusove and Florenc, Prague) rather than at train stations. Litomerice horni (nadrazi) is a tiny station on a branch line and would never have a direct connection to Vienna. Moreover, all these trains supposedly leave within minutes of each other.

Revealing mistakes

Although her character dyed her hair black within the movie, Kate McKinnon's wig is visibly separating from her temples during the closeups in her tight rope scene.

Around 30 minutes into the movie, during the car chase scene, there is a moving silver car however the angle changes to show this car being hit and it is clearly visible that there is no one driving the car, or indeed anyone actually in the car.
