Storyline

The Trojans tunnel through to Cilicia to obtain rations but the Cilicians are attacked by the Spartans led by Achilles, who burn the food, capturing those that they do not kill. As a result Priam closes the tunnel but the Spartans are concerned when their prisoners start to die of the plague. They believe it is because they have captured a priest's daughter, Chriseis, leading to a split between Agamemnon and Patroclus. Meanwhile Menelaus arranges a duel with Paris to decide the fate of the city. Written by don @ minifie-1

Subtle

It seems that the series is met with disfavor as it is not a series remake of Brad Pitt's Troy. Yet, the high attention to detail, the depth of characters, and pace of the material seems to me to be a more true rendition of the Illiad.
