Did You Know?

Elliot (Rami Malek)'s dealer 'Hard Andy' who deals drugs from a suitcase in a seedy hotel room is undoubtedly meant as a counterpart to 'Easy Andy' the man who sells Travis his guns from a similar suitcase/hotel room in Taxi Driver (1976). See more »

Mohammed: Did you know I could be President of the United States?
Elliot Alderson: Yeah?
Mohammed: My sister couldn't be. She wasn't born here. My mom and dad couldn't either. I'm the only person in my family who could be President. Isn't that cool?
Mohammed: If I were President I would be able to stay here, in the house we live in. I would find a way to bring back my sister. I'd put the real bad guys in jail. And... And I'd make everyone eat Pop Tarts for dinner. And then make everyone be nice to me.
Elliot Alderson: So you'd be a dictator.

Depression, guilt, but hope at the end
2 March 2018 | by noalyghSee all my reviews

A great episode for me. After seeing Angela breaking down in the last episode, here is the aftermath to Elliot, and a development for his next move. This episode takes completely in a different approach from other Mr. Robot episodes but this is just out of the world.

Everything is slow, deep and touching, with a meaning thoroughly expressed through the episode. It's exactly what the show needs sometimes. I have to say that the acting here is at its best, especially for Rami Malek and Portia Doubleday.
