Storyline

A wealthy family with a storied past and a large sprawling estate, hires Henry to oversee the menu for an annual summer gala. When one of the host's sons dies at the event, Maggie and Henry are on the case once again, finding themselves in the crosshairs of a bitter feud between heirs to a family fortune.

Just okay. Kind of glad the series is over for now.

With this series, the mystery is so tied up in money and business that it's boring. Maggie is always incompetent as a detective; whether not being sneaky AT ALL, always getting knocked out or incapacitated in some way, etc. Their relationship has no warmth or romance at all. I think the stories could be better if it were acted out better.
