Habeas Corpus: The Making of 'Psycho Cop Returns' (2017)

*** 1/2 (out of 4)

Fun forty-two minute documentary that takes a look at the making of PSYCHO COP RETURNS. This documentary features interviews with director Adam Rifkin, screenwriter Dan Povenmire, actors Robert R. Shafer, Melanie Good, Barbara Niven, Nick Vallelonga, Rod Sweitzer, and Miles Dougal and editor Peter Schink. If you're a fan of the film then you'll certainly be entertained by this film as it does a very good job at covering every aspect of the production. It's interesting to see that the film happened rather quickly because the director was waiting for Charlie Sheen to become available for THE CHASE. From here we learn about the casting, the original plan for five movies and of course the nudity and gore. Every aspect of the film is covered in a nice way so there's no question that fans are going to enjoy the stories and learning more about the film.
