Storyline

Tom and Liz live a beautiful life, in a beautiful home. Their housemate Glenda has just killed herself. And now they are falling apart. An intimate, darkly funny look at love in a crisis. Writer/Director/Actor Barton Bund has appeared in numerous film and television roles (THE DUNES, BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, JIMMY P., AMC'S LOW WINTER SUN) and brings a sensitivity and brutal sense of humor to this, his first short film. Visually stunning, GLENDA was shot inside a magnificent home designed by artist Monika Essen. Essen's production design, with cinematography by Kyle Marquise Morgan, create a lush visual landscape. The setting is at once beautiful and prisonlike, expansive, yet caving in on our protagonists. Music by Matt Raetzel.
