This wasn't one of the best episodes, but it's still quite fun. This features a mysterious box delivered to the Watterson house that they didn't order. Most of the episode consists of the various family members imagining what they think is in it. Gumball's is probably the most fun, if only because it's the longest. I will admit that it does seem a little desperate that they're doing an obvious "Portal" parody. I mean, they usually work the pop culture references better into the story. Still, it's overall entertaining. I am disappointed that Darwin didn't get to imagine anything.
Richard's imagination was pretty funny too. He imagines that he's been assigned to protect the President and for some reason kisses him too. It's nice we're allowed to show that in a kid's cartoon. We then realize Richard's still a moron and see a much more likely outcome for that scenario. We do eventually find out what's in the box and it's revealed in a fairly clever way. As always, the animation is top notch and most of the jokes are great. ***
