The "Muslim registry" is clearly a swipe at the travel ban (blocking entry from certain nations) proposed by the Trump administration, which is a legitimate power of the executive branch of government that has been utilized several times in the past. The ban dealt with nationalities/geography based upon attacks on America, not a specific religion. The show distorts the issue by describing it as a system to allow Homeland Security to register and track non-citizen visa holders from countries of concern. There already exists a terrorist watch list and no fly list. See more
The Capitol is a public building. Absent some type of criminal conduct, a citizen- much less the son of the current president- could not be legally forced to leave the building. If the building had been private property, then the owner could eject anyone they desired. See more
