In his first stand-up special, Hasan Minhaj weaves humorous and heartbreaking anecdotes to tell his life story as an Indian-American Muslim. Topics include racism, bullying and meeting the demanding expectations of his immigrant parents.
This interview is a good companion to the documentary. And it does add helpful information. Yet there is nothing special. And it should be viewed as an extra, a complement to the documentary and not as a stand alone work. Also, it was amusing to watch the two producers interact.
