SEAL Team is a military drama that follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan, and execute the most dangerous, high-stakes missions our country can ask of them. Jason Hayes is the respected, intense leader of the Tier One team whose home life has suffered as a result of his extensive warrior's existence. His team includes his trusted confidant, Ray Perry, the longest-tenured operator with whom Jason shares an ingrained shorthand; Sonny Quinn, an exceptional, loyal soldier with a checkered past who still combats self-destructive tendencies; and Clay Spenser, a young, multilingual, second-generation SEAL with insatiable drive and dedication. Did You Know?

In the early years of the war, SEAL Team 6 had an inflexible standard: Shooting people who were unarmed was forbidden and anyone who did so had to demonstrate the target had displayed hostile intent. Operators and officers prided themselves on their ability to kill only those who were deemed a threat. If a SEAL couldn't justify the threat after a shooting, he was quietly removed from the unit. But even that rule evolved over time. SEALs were given wide berth as long as they could explain why they made the decision to shoot an unarmed person. See more »

Most of the mission countries where Seal Team operates in bear no resemblance to their real world counterparts. With the exception of Belgrade, Serbia, Afghanistan and Mexico. For instance, Kinshasha, the capital of DR Congo is portrayed as being near the Savanna when in reality Kinshasha is a leafy coastal city on the Congo River. Congo is nowhere near any savanna. The Congolese geography is mostly forest and rolling plains. The team would've had to travel to rural Kenya or Tanzania before operating in any savanna like geography. See more »

I spent 26 yrs as a wife of a military man. God bless him. He's been gone almost 4 yrs now. This show brings him back to me on so many levels. Thank you for bring this series to us. Even though I cry a lot watching it, I will not miss a single episode. Every character is someone I have known.
