You would think that, having been interviewed approximately a bazillion times about Netflix’s glorious Gilmore Girls revival, A Year in the Life, Lauren Graham couldn’t possibly have anything left to say on the subject. Lauren Graham's Linda From Hr Not Moving Forward at Fox

Lauren Graham's Linda From Hr Not Moving Forward at Fox
Disappointing news out of Human Resources this morning: Fox is letting Linda From Hr go.

The network has opted not to move forward with the Lauren Graham-fronted comedy pilot, our sister site Deadline reports.

RelatedLauren Graham Solves Gilmore Girls Revival Mystery: ‘It Was [Spoiler]’

Linda‘s fate was essentially sealed last week when the unconventional sitcom failed to secure a series order ahead of Fox’s upfront presentation. Network brass, however, said the pilot remained in contention for the 2017-18 season. That is no longer the case. And there are apparently no plans to shop Linda around to another network/outlet.

Fox postponed formal decision on five pilots until after the upfronts. Gilmore Girls Video: Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel Talk Possibility of Second Revival, Reflect on Baby Twist
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life made its Netflix debut six long months ago and Lauren Graham still has not seen a single frame of the four-part revival. And she has no desire to remedy that anytime soon.

“As a rule, I don’t find it helpful to watch myself in anything,” Lorelai’s portrayer confessed to me last month at Deadline’s The Contenders Emmy event in Los Angeles (video of which is now available above). “I will give it a good 10 years and then maybe I’ll check it out. Love Connection Review: Andy Cohen Can't Save Fox's Awkward Reboot

Love Connection Review: Andy Cohen Can't Save Fox's Awkward Reboot
Being a loving connoisseur of ’80s cheese, my heart leapt at the news that Fox was rebooting the old-school dating show Love Connection. But alas, some things are better left in the past. The new reboot — debuting this Thursday at 9/8c — turns out to be the TV equivalent of a hot-pink leotard stuffed full of floppy disks.

The original Love Connection, hosted by Chuck Woolery, is a charming relic of the video-dating era, with singles choosing a date from three options and reporting back to Woolery how it went. It’s corny and hopelessly dated… but that’s part of the fun.

New Girl‘s upcoming seventh and final season will pick up three years after the events of last month’s Season 6 finale, our sister site Deadline reports. The game-changing twist was apparently part of a hail-mary pitch series creator Liz Meriwether made to Fox execs last week when the series was on the verge of being cancelled.

The network ultimately commissioned an eight-episode farewell season that, per Deadline, will span an entire year and feature “major milestones for all main characters…

Lauren Graham's Linda From Hr Pilot 'Still in Consideration' at Fox

Linda From Hr is down but she’s not out.

Despite failing to land a spot on Fox’s 2017-18 schedule, the Lauren Graham-fronted comedy pilot still has a pulse. “It is definitely still in consideration,” Fox Chairman and CEO Gary Newman told reporters early Monday.

The half-hour, single-camera sitcom centers on Graham’s Linda Plugh, an Hr employee whose one bad decision throws her monotonous, unfulfilled existence into an exciting but dangerous tailspin of balancing her work life, her home life and a secret that could unravel everything. 'Gilmore Girls' Star Alexis Bledel Confesses Rory's 'Cliffhanger' Ending 'Was Hard to Digest'
Alexis Bledel had a difficult time coming to grips with Rory Gilmore's ending.

In the final scene of Netflix's Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Rory revealed to her mother, Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham), that she was pregnant -- a surprising development that Bledel wasn't expecting for her character.

"It certainly wasn't the ending I expected," the 35-year-old actress admitted during a panel for Deadline's Emmy Contenders on Sunday.

“We hope [for more],” Sarandos told the UK’s Press Association. “We obviously loved the success of the show. Fans loved how well it was done; it delivered what they hoped.”

“If it all existed in a vacuum, I would play that character until my dying day…Now it’s become what could we do with this story that is satisfying, that is worth continuing.
