Trivia
Penn and Teller play a fictionalized version of themselves in the pilot. After Cameron Black is found out they say that magicians don't "lie" to their audience but "trick" and "fool" them. Penn often says to audience members that he and Teller don't mind them knowing that a seemingly dangerous trick is a lie, because they feel like not doing so would involve the audience in unnecessary risk to human life.

It took two episodes for me to get over how much like the mentalist this shows plot seemed to be. Once I started picking up the "now you see me" vibe I was hooked. The music between that movie and this show is very similar. One of my favorite movies mixed with my favorite show.... yea I'll take it.
