Mantua, a medieval small town in Northern Italy, is my hometown. I came back to it after many years living abroad. Of my past life I surely miss the metropolis' hustle bustle and the anonymous crowd, but at present I enjoy the open view of three little lakes that literally surround the city and wandering in public parks on their shores. Winter Continuous Cycle, Ciclo Continuo d'Inverno, is a perspective on these outdoors, where the city is a distant reality detectable by urban sounds and the skyline, with human presence only revealing itself through moving cars and thrown away garbage. In the meantime days and nights slowly alternate in the light and weather of winter.
