New ‘Wonder Park’ Trailer Delivers the Theme Park of Your Dreams

Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon are doubling down on their dream theme park, Wonder Park. A new trailer for the family-friendly flick debuted today, and it's the first to feature full voice acting while also revealing much more of the plot. The previous trailer was wondrously whimsical but also lacked any sort of meat on the bones of the narrative. That's just fine because now we have a better sense of the story: 12-year-old June, who had created an imaginative theme park with her mother when she was younger, stumbles upon a real-world creation of …

‘Wonder Park’ Trailer: Chimpanzombies Bedevil All-Star Cast In Upcoming Toon

‘Wonder Park’ Trailer: Chimpanzombies Bedevil All-Star Cast In Upcoming Toon
“It’s time to open the park” – an announcement for Wonder Park that seems to bear repeating in this first official full-length trailer for the upcoming animated feature from Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies.

Starring Jennifer Garner, Matthew Broderick, John Oliver, Mila Kunis, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Norbert Leo Butz, Brianna Denski and Ken Hudson Campbell, Wonder Park tells the story of young June (Denski), a “wildly creative” 12-year-old girl who once designed a magnificent amusement park that’s long since gone to weeds and rust.

And chimpanzombies. Best not to try for an explanation on that one – just watch the trailer above.

“My mom and I invented this place and somehow you came alive,” says June to a colorful menagerie that includes a big bear, a warthog, and a porcupine (“I’m nobody’s pin cushion”). June’s mom is voiced by Jennifer Garner.

The setting, of course, gives

Full Trailer for Animated Theme Park Adventure Comedy 'Wonder Park'

"Welcome to the park - have a nice day!" Paramount Animation has debuted the full, official trailer for their latest creation, an animated adventure movie titled Wonder Park taking us to a magical amusement park called Wonderland. There isn't much known about the story, except that it involves this park "where the imagination of a wildly creative girl named June comes alive." This seems like a mash-up of Zootopia and Tomorrowland, with everything being so imaginative, plus all the talking animals. Brianna Denski voices June, and the primary cast includes Jennifer Garner, Matthew Broderick, John Oliver, Mila Kunis, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Norbert Leo Butz, and Ken Hudson Campbell. This looks like a ton of fun, though I'm not sure about the infighting in the park, but the rest of it seems thoroughly entertaining. ‘Transparent’ Creator Jill Soloway Explains Not Bashing Jeffrey Tambour in New Memoir
In their new memoir, Jill Soloway does not spend a lot of time bashing Jeffrey Tambor, a decision the “Transparent” co-creator told Entertainment Weekly was about taking ownership of their own actions.

“It’s such a dangerous time right now. I just wanted to really reveal the places where I felt like I didn’t stand up and be the best person I should be,” Soloway said about “She Wants It: Desire, Power, and Toppling the Patriarchy,” released Oct. 15. “I really wanted to take responsibility for my own behavior and not be in a place where I’m going after people. Going after people can be exhilarating. It’s not enough to just be angry at men. It isn’t going to get us anywhere.

‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’ Film Review: Kate McKinnon Shines in Joke-and-Dagger Pairing With Mila Kunis

‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’ Film Review: Kate McKinnon Shines in Joke-and-Dagger Pairing With Mila Kunis
Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon, whether in a bar or a car or lands afar, look like they’re enjoying themselves in the buddy action romp “The Spy Who Dumped Me.”

This kind of co-star coziness, however, can be a 50/50 proposition for an audience. Are the actors flaunting their frolic at the expense of entertainment cohesion? Is it a home movie writ large? Or does the onscreen fun invite along summer moviegoers eager to be whisked away?

The answer with director and co-writer Susanna Fogel’s girls-on-the-run misadventure is a decided… it depends. As in, from scene to scene, “The Spy Who Dumped Me” either lands the appropriately silly tone of freewheeling camaraderie or feels like a lot of money and time haphazardly spent.
