The preppy dressed twins Teresa and Christian Langana arrive from Italy with orders from their mob boss father to take control of the drugs in Montreal knowing they will have to go through Declan and...
A story of family, loyalty, deceit, power, greed, and ultimately revenge. Montreal Mafia boss Vito Rizzuto is a criminal anomaly. Determined to bring peace to the disparate wings of the Montreal crime world of the day, Rizzuto successfully unifies them, serving as a de facto CEO while ensuring a lucrative payday for all. When Rizzuto is suddenly arrested and extradited to Colorado's Supermax Prison for the 1981 murders of three Bonanno crime family members, the powerful empire he built begins to crumble. Rizzuto watches helplessly until his release from prison in October 2012, when a Shakespearean tale of revenge begins to unfold.
I actually enjoyed the show. Yes it has pacing issues and often skip ahead in the timeline, some characters are not really fleshed out at all and are just there because they had a part to play with Vito. But if you take it as simply a work of fiction, it is good, at least for Season 1 as i watched it on Netflix and season 2 is not there yet.
Now as how its based on the real family of italian mob boss Vito Rizzuto... meh... I understand some stuff has to be changed from dramatization or because of "some reasons" like the Hells Angels being called the Devils King, the main character of Declan is completely made off and therefore from the get go some accuracy has to be changed but there such innacuracies at time with the timeline and events changed that serve no purpose and should had simply been showed how it really happened. Maybe its because i live not so far from Montreal so its stuff we heard a lot about in the news and i am more familiar with it than a Vancouver or Columbus viewer, but it did bugged me at times.
I am VERY curious to see how Season 2 goes tough.
