- The International Response Team investigates the apparent suicide of an American in Colombia who emptied his bank account prior to his death.
- The team is called in when Colombian authorities discover an American tourist dead in the alley behind a hotel room. It turns out that the manager is actually a criminal who is using sopolamine - the "Devil's Breath" - to put tourists into a trance, force them to clean out their bank accounts, and then kill themselves to prevent them from talking to the authorities.—Anthony Durrant
- Jack Garrett's team joins cooperative Colombian police Detective Benavides's investigation after the beastly-bloody murder of American Tim Hulse in Cali, actually fitting a pattern of unprovoked fatal violence against tourists without apparent motive. Hulse's dark secrets prove a dead trail, except perhaps his link to a local drug cartel. Autopsy shows the wounds were fatal, but other constants are the use of sopolamine - "Devil's Breath", a strong local hallucinogen toxin, and of siren bait. It all leads to urchin Romeo's street gang, but Garret believes a truly evil adult must be pulling their strings.—KGF Vissers
- An American man dies in Colombia after cleaning out his bank account, and the team is dispatched to investigate. It turns out the manager at his hotel dosed him with a drug called "the Devil's Breath" that rendered him vulnerable to her commands and then had him clean out his account before killing him. She does this again with another American with the help of a young musician who is trying to get his girlfriend off the streets, and then tries to confuse the team by having another victim shoot at the young man. However, the team uncovers her scheme as well as her true identity as a professional criminal and then is forced to shoot her dead. It turns out she was a con woman with a string of aliases as long as your arm and a hatred of foreigners. Unfortunately for her, the local police evidently have no such hatred, as they are the ones who called the team in on the case. In all, two of the woman's American victims shoot themselves at the woman's request and the third regains his usual personality after being arrested. The boy and the girlfriend split up at the very end of the show.
