In the doorway of the neighborhood's most-renowned bakery, a young student collapses, shot dead. It's an inexplicable murder: no weapon, no suspect, nothing in the victim's past to provide any lead. A motiveless murder. The perfect crime? In heart of the City of Lights, it's a new challenge for Superintendent Rousseau and his deputy Mariella de Luca. Written by Happy_Evil_Dude
Haven't a clue as to why none of the 4 police procedurals featuring Patrick Cresnais and Camillle Panonacle have gone unreviewed. Perhaps it's because each of the individual stories were made over an 8 year span. Excellent acting, plotting, surprise twists and turns, highly entertaining and engrossing, I wish there were more. Patrick Cresnais, unknown here in the USA is a find. No nonsense, straight ahead actor in the tradition of all the great French actors: Raimu, Baur, Gabin, Jouvet, Fresney. Excellent!
