Dolph Lundgren Vs. Zombies in Trailer for the Upcoming Thriller Dead Trigger

We’ve got another zombie movie coming out called Dead Trigger, but what makes this one different from all the others is the fact that it stars Dolph Lundgren!

It’s been great seeing Lundgren appear in some recent mainstream movies, but it’s still always fun to see stars in these smaller, lower budget projects. In this one we get to see him blow away zombies. Here’s the synopsis for Dead Trigger:

A mysterious virus has killed billions and turned many others into bloodthirsty zombies. Unable to stop the virus, the government develops a video game, "Dead Trigger," that mirrors the terrifying events that curse the world.

Dead Trigger was co-directed by Mike Cuff and Scott Windhauser (Cops and Robbers). While this doesn’t look like it’s going to be a good movie, it still will probably be fun to watch.

The movie will be released on May 3rd.

Michael B. Jordan Takes On Age-Less Man Thriller ‘Methusaleh’ At Warner Bros
Exclusive: Warner Bros will re-develop Methusaleh as a star vehicle for Michael B. Jordan to play a man who has managed to stay alive for over 400 years. Jordan’s Outlier Society has joined as producers Heyday’s David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford.

Warner Bros has been trying to get this one up and running for years, with myriad writers and leading men that at one time included Tom Cruise. It’s got a Highlander-like mythology and franchise potential. The idea is for Jordan to play a man who has managed to survive for hundreds of years, without showing the physical signs of age. In that time, he has accumulated vast intellectual knowledge, from multiple languages to the sciences, as well as survival skills. Zach Dean is among the writers who’ve written versions.

Jordan is coming off the one-two punch of Black Panther and Creed II. Since signing a deal at Warner Bros,

‘Creed II’ Blu-ray Review

Stars: Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Dolph Lundgren, Florian Munteanu, Russell Hornsby, Wood Harris, Milo Ventimiglia, Robbie Johns, Andre Ward, Brigitte Nielsen | Written by Sylvester Stallone, Cheo Hodari Coker | Directed by Steven Caple Jr.

Steven Caple Jr.’s Creed II, the long-anticipated follow-up to Ryan Coogler’s 2015 film Creed, itself a spin-off of the Sylvester Stallone Rocky franchise, is quite simply put – gold dust. Caple Jr., taking the reigns from innovative and visionary director Ryan Coogler, is no easy task, even if the material in front of him writes itself – with Stallone heading the script with Cheo Hodari Coker, and Michael B. Jordan putting forward a stunning turn as Adonis Creed. Establishing his own visual style and direction, while honouring the existing aesthetic and thematic margin is no mean feat to simply dismiss.

Creed II achieves the rare success that has escaped many of its contemporaries and predecessors before it,

Creed II was originally going to feature a cameo from Apollo’s ghost

During a Q&A at Monster Mania Con 42 in New Jersey (via CinemaBlend), actor Dolph Lundgren was speaking about reprising his Rocky IV role as Ivan Drago in last year’s Creed II, during which he revealed that the first draft of the script featured a cameo from Drago’s fallen foe Apollo Creed in ghost form.

“It was a great idea I thought [to bring Brigitte Nielsen’s Ludmilla Drago back],” said Lundgren. “In the original first draft it was Apollo came back. Or like his ghost or something. It was a little hokey, you know. So I think it was much better to bring Brigitte back.”

Lundgren didn’t elaborate on his comments, so it’s a little unclear as to how Apollo may have featured in the movie – although presumably it would have been some kind of dream or vision, rather than as an actual apparition.

Sylvester Stallone has

Creed 2 Almost Brought Back Another Fan Favorite From the Franchise, Apollo Creed... in Ghost Form??

In a recent Q&A interview with Dolph Lundgren at Monster Mania Con 42, he was asked about returning to the Rocky franchise in Creed II. He came back into the story as Ivan Drago, who has trained his son Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu) to challenge Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) in the ring. The movie saw the return of his wife in the original, Brigitte Nielsen, and here’s what he had to say about it:

It was a great idea I thought [to bring Nielsen back]. In the original first draft it was Apollo came back. Or like his ghost or something. It was a little hokey, you know. So I think it was much better to bring Brigitte back.

You read that right. The original draft of the sequel thought about bringing Apollo Creed back… as a ghost. He doesn’t expand on that, but he makes it sound like it was

Brigitte Nielsen on 'Red Sonja' and Hopes for a Female-Directed Remake

Brigitte Nielsen on 'Red Sonja' and Hopes for a Female-Directed Remake
To her fans, Danish model turned actress Brigitte Nielsen is still a Viking queen.

Nielsen was introduced to audiences as the revenge-driven title character in Red Sonja, the 1985 swords-and-sorcery comic-book adaptation. She’s also known for playing Ludmilla Drago, a bloodthirsty Soviet athlete and trophy wife, in Rocky IV and Creed II. Nielsen’s real-life romantic life (she was married to Sylvester Stallone from 1985 to 1987) has made her the target of ugly, often misogynistic criticism. But at 55, Nielsen’s a new mother again, and she's eager to continue throwing punches…but only when necessary.
