What's wrong with the cinema of Quebec these years
Another state funded movie. Since 10 years the crash of the medias in Canada has made the state TV the only one being able to raise above the water. We all know that Canada state funded movies have the political goal and the will to push the multicultural political agenda the further they can, so any move right of it will be considered too "far". So they get the most collaborative globalist producers they can find and finance only them, who wants to collaborate to their "vision" of society. Those producers are the worst in the list but they do as they told so they are raised as if they were the top tier.
That makes bad movies.
A lifeless cosmopolitan movie. Sterile. Empty scenery aka post modernism globalism, that plague the recent movies from Quebec (Canada's multiculturalism vs Québec's distinct society)
