Storyline
A notorious cult kidnaps a young girl, and sacrifice themselves by the light of the locust moon. The next morning the girl awakes, caked in dried blood and surrounded by corpses...but safe - or so she thinks. Years later, the locust moon is about to rise again and the girl is captured once more by a surviving member of the cult. She is taken to a remote cabin where she learns that a demon has been growing inside of her all these years, and before the dawn it will rise. —unknown

Surprisingly good for a Canadian horror film
Most Canadian horror movies are extremely predictable and are done in the genre of a typical teen scream of the US, no matter how the script is authored. I recently watched American Hangman (ironically a Canadian thriller / horror movie) with great anticipation and was disappointed by the predictable, moronic stupidity of the whole thing. This one is, I'll admit, pretty darn predictable in typical fashion however, it was done in a way that was fun to watch. I liken it to Tusk although it was absolutely nothing like it. Tusk was absurdly stupid but oddly, one cannot look away and it sticks in your craw afterward. You want to watch it again..and again. Just in case you missed something even though you know how it ends. If you like horror movies and you enjoy twists and turns, albeit rather extremely predictable yet the whole thing will stick with you afterward, definitely check this one out. The story line is one that has been done before, albeit to different conclusions but once past that aspect it was directed and produced in such a way that it's worth seeing.
