Trivia

When Jay and Gloria go to talk to Joe, he is sitting on the couch with his hand tucked in the front of his pants while watching TV. This is a nod to Ed O'Neil's character Al Bundy from his earlier hit show Married With Children. The hand down the pants was his signature move on the show as well. See more »

Gloria Delgado-Pritchett: Yes, of course. He built an addiction to his house for making love to his many girlfriends.

Worst episode of the series
10 February 2017 | by pablo-83See all my reviews

The writing, direction and acting in this episode was mailed in. They quit trying. I know this show started to devolve in Season 4 and now it's at its lowest point.

This particular episode appears formulaic and the writing leans heavily on past seasons successes. The actors are hurried through their lines and the conversations ring false. They have become clichés of themselves.

When we queue this show each week on our weekly TV night, it is done because of ritual.

it is very hard to a care about these characters anymore. Not a funny show any more. I wish this show had ended before this season. This season has soured me on the whole enterprise. That is too bad.
