Storyline
After a global apocalypse, an android called "Mother" is responsible for repopulating Earth using a collection of embryos stored in an underground failsafe bunker. Her teenage daughter, who she raised from an embryo, is submitted to classes and tests to assess her development as human being. When the daughter finds a mouse inside the base, she suspects that the outside is no longer contaminated. One day, she sees a wounded woman outside the base and lets her in. Soon she learns something that will affect her relationship with Mother and which will change her forever.

Goofs
When the mysterious woman (Hillary Swank) is initially in the medical bay with Mother, Daughter is outside the closed door and can't hear what they are saying. In a subsequent scene, the door is locked and the woman and daughter on the opposite side freely converse without difficulty.
They are speaking through an intercom. You can clearly hear the intercom turning on and off, and one scene even show Daughter turning the intercom on.

This movie is similar to Ex Machina in some ways. It's suspenseful and keeps you guessing. There's many secrets that are unravelled throughout the movie, can be dark at times and is executed well. It centres more on human morals, compassion and responsibility.
There's a small cast but they're more than enough to carry the movie. Great acting, great character development and plot. Give it a go.
