Meet the Carveths (2015)

*** 1/2 (out of 4)

This is a highly entertaining featurette with Fangoria editor Chris Alexander sitting down with Art Hindle and Cindy Hinds who played father and daughter in the David Cronenberg film THE BROOD. This here turned out to be a very entertaining piece because I don't believe Hinds has had much contact with fans. In fact, I really don't see too many interviews with her so it was great to get to hear from her as well as Hindle. They do a very good job at telling some very funny stories and Alexander is perfect as the host because he gets into some good bits of information. This includes, of course, the antics of Oliver Reed and what it was like to work with such a legendary figure. There are some great stories about some of the kids on the set being terrified of the school sequence and also stories of how Hinds handled the material. Fans of THE BROOD will certainly enjoy this chat with the two actors.
