Episode #1.2

Flora leaves the cottage to her grandson Adam, a vet, who brings in architect Steve to sort the property out, the pair fall for one another, unfortunately Adam isn't the settling down type, he's more interested in random hookups.

Anyone expecting a war time continuation will be disappointed, it's very much a story of present day sex and lust.

It's good, it's well made, it's well acted, it's revealing, but I'll be honest, in comparison to the first episode, it's just not even close.

There's not much in terms of love, although you could argue that Steve has the capacity for it, Adam however is a dog, and his relentless search for sex lands him in a perilous situation.

It doesn't exactly put gay men the best light, but download Grindr and you'll have an insight into the world, it's not far wrong.

It's pretty graphic at times, it shows oral especially, and to my mind it's about the only time it's appeared in a BBC drama.
