Some of the reviews have been unnecessarily harsh. While this movie is unlikely to become a classic, it is good entertainment. Totally centered on Sikh weddings and families spread across India and UK, this movie delivers a story I felt like watching and good laughs along the way. Most of the cast does well though none of them is likely to win any awards. Arjun Kapoor delivered above my admittedly very low expectations - mostly because the characters he plays in double role are silly/shallow and not serious anyway. He is annoying at times - especially as a whining Charan but the story keeps moving so you can quickly get over the annoyance. Neha Sharma and Iliana are OK while Athiya has a really small and not very impactful role to play. As you would expect from an actor who has been acting for ~3.5 decades, Anil Kapoor does a good job and so do other actors.
This movie belong to the screenplay writer who delivers a decent comedy without taking it over the top - especially compared to Priyadarshan movies. The movie concludes in a satisfactory "filmy" way without resorting to slapstick end that many recent comedies have resorted to.
All in all, a well above average comedy that delivers entertainment.
